Angry Crow Takes Flight
In the heart of an ancient forest, under the shadow of towering pines, there lived a crow named Caelum. Unlike his feathered brethren, Caelum was known for his irascible temperament and sharp beak. The villagers nearby often whispered about him, their tales filled with both fear and awe.
One crisp autumn morning, as golden leaves danced in the breeze, Caelum found himself stirred to action like never before. A group of children had been tormenting a young squirrel near his nest, laughing as they threw acorns at the frightened creature. The sight was too much for Caelum to bear. With a guttural squawk that echoed through the woods, he launched himself into the air.
His wings beat fiercely against the cool air, propelling him towards the unsuspecting children. They looked up in shock as the large black bird descended upon them, his eyes blazing with fury. He swooped down, narrowly missing them, but the message was clear: leave the forest's inhabitants in peace.
The children, wide-eyed and trembling, retreated, leaving the squirrel unharmed. Caelum watched from a nearby branch until he was sure they were gone. Then, with a final defiant caw, he took to the skies once more, his spirit soaring higher than ever before. From that day on, the villagers spoke of Caelum not just as an angry crow, but as a guardian of the forest, a protector of the weak.
