Kua Fu raced the sun in its course across the sky. He reached where the sun sets. Being thirsty from his run, he wished for water to drink and drank from the Yellow River and the Wei River. But these were not enough, so he intended to go north to drink from the great marsh. Before he arrived, he died of thirst on the way.
